yes, you have to approve all software that has access to communicate
out, or you can allow it to automatically approve based upon their

I recommend the following for all of my clients:
Grisoft AVG AntiVirus
LavaSoft Ad Aware
Spybot
Currently each of these products do what they say they do and NOTHING
else.
One of my big beefs with McAffee and Norton is that they add so much
extra software to "HELP" you and therefore take up WAY too much system
resources.
