The closest thing I've seen is a waterproof belt pack that goes around the
waist. It has a zip lock style bag inside (very heavy duty). The whole thing
is quite flat and is like those under-the-clothes-valuables-holders that some
travelers use. Suitable for a few bills, credit cards and maybe some keys and
coins, but little else. The one I have is not longer made, so no link.

Similar to the one on the upper right on this page:

Per me.RemoveThis@privacy.net:

I use something that holds my cell phone, wallet, car keys, and pager.

It's a little different shape this one and has "Nokia" printed on it, but it's
the same basic design: http://tinyurl.com/q45dr

Actually, after about 10 years of use, it finally started leaking - so I'm
shopping too.

The beach patrol where I kayak surf has something similar but larger and I think
I'll try to find one of them.

form other stuff such as wallet?

Per me.RemoveThis@privacy.net:

No. It's a candy bar phone, so I just put it on top of the wallet so I can use
it if needed.

If I'm with somebody who is staying on the beach, I drop it in the picnic
cooler. If, for some reason I want to take it out on the water I'll tie the
carrying cord to a deck bungee and then bungee the thing to the deck for flat
water. For surf, I hang it around my neck and wear it inside of my neo tee
shirt.

Few years back, I called a work bud at his Philadelphia-area desk from the
middle of Kailua Bay - and we both realized that times had, indeed, changed...

Aqua Quest and Omniseal may have stuff that you'd be interested in.

The skinny model fits in pants pockets. My brother uses the skinny
model without the neck cord as his primary wallet since he frequently
works in wet and grimy conditions. He also uses it when kyaking.
