All of the skis have reliablility issues. The Yamaha's have had
issues with catalytic converters, power valves, and oil lines.
The Sea Doo 951 motor is somewhat questionable and the
driveline is a horrible design lending itself to water intrusion.
Compression checks, carb condition, driveline condition, and
power valve updates with catalytic removal is essential for
longevity on all of these models.
