Anyone have any idea where I can get a door for a Maxum boat. It is a
1998 SCR2400 and I need a cabin door. The closest dealer is over 50
miles away (I am in Chicago). They supposedly ordered the part and
charged me. It never came in according to them. Since you have to go
through a dealer, it is like pulling teeth because none want to bother
with it. Also, I was told Maxum only makes so many of each part and
over time, they run out. Apparently Maxum may not even have any.

Although this group is mainly for Maxum boats 35' and over, it does have a
section for owners with smaller Maxum's.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

I used to have one of these boats, but I sold it for my 45' off-shore
Donzi.

Check the internet. Many things can be found on it. I was on the
internet design team under Gores administration. It has really turned
out to be working well.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Yeah- and it was on this internet that I posted this message because I
couldn't find the door.
