Fuel pump lines on STX, anyone know which goes where?

Item Description:

I have a 99 STX with triple Keihin carbs.

There is a fuel pump that is mounted on the side of the last carb with 3
hose nipples coming out of it.

Problem Description:

I installed a primer kit and in the process unhooked all 3 hoses coming
off the fuel pump and now don't remember with goes where.

Details:

One of the three hoses has the fuel filter on it.

Another hose has the wording 'Return' on it and is going back to the
fuel tank. I assume this is for some sort of overflow.

The third hose is going into the block.

On the fuel pump there are two inscriptions by two of the hose nipples.
By one nipple there is the inscription 'IN' and I assume this is for
the hose w/the fuel filter (tell me if I'm wrong).
By another nipple there is what looks to be a sine wave ( a
straight line with a wave going thru it)
The last nipple has no inscription by it.

Question:
Does anyone know what these inscriptions mean or better yet know which
hose goes where?

ter,

the one with the filter is the 'in' line, the one not marked is for the
return line, and the one with the sine wave is the pulse line, it
operates your fuel pump.
