The Prijon boat of choice I've seen among the class IV/V self-support
crowd out here is the Prijon Chopper. At the other end of the spectrum,
a friend used the Prijon Yukon to self-support the Grand Canyon.

Well you want something that will still handle OK with a load of kit in
the back, so mo st playboats are out, even quite old ones like acros and
rpms.

The Eskimo Cerro or spud would be reasonable choices, though the spud
wouldn't be too suitable for anything where you need a lot of gear.

Also the Pyranha H2O and Micorbat should be pretty good, as would the necky
Blunt.

Anything that is reasonable large should work, as long as it hasn't got sharp
edges at the back to trip you up.

The ultimate, of course, is the Prijon T-Canyon, but they are a bit tricky
to get hold of nowadays, and you'll find yourself needing binoculars to see
where the front of the boat is.

If your located in North East, I've got a Prijon T-Canyon. You can have
it with old float bags & werner paddle for $200. It is 12 & 1/2 foot
long. I don't use it much, thought I would. I keep it stored in my
garage. I'm in Southern CT.

I have a Prijon Embudo. The Micro 240 works OK too.

H3 THE Big one I think it is the 255 I used the H2 255 in Iran for our
eight day un-supported trip down the Bactaria river a great boat and
the improvements on the H3 range are all excellent

If on a river where firepan and port-a-potty are required,
you might want to look at the AIRE Lynx 2 inflatable kayak.
An EcoSafe SeaKayak toilet fits nicely in front or back,
and a stainless-steel catering dish works well as a firepan,
