I think I'm pretty much past entanglement issues since I covered most of the
leash with pipe insulation.

The leash terminates at the bow eye and I'm currently running it down the center
between my knees.

But when I re-mount in the impact zone I tend to just let it lay on one side or
the other until I can get outside. Ditto launching through shore break.

I'm thinking maybe that's the way to do it all the time.

Anybody have experience/insights?
