Hello,

I recently relocated to Boston, MA and was wondering where the good
park+play spots were. I remember seeing a website where you could
enter your address and it would tell you all the good ones in the
area, but I think it might have gone offline (or my search
capabilities are fading with time). In any case, I heard that I'll
have a bit of a drive ahead of me, but if anyone has any suggestions
I'd appreciate it! I'm looking for a friendly class 3 play-spot as
it's been a few years since I've seen any real moving water.

Thanks!
Kevin

Check out www.paddlin.net for trip reports in Massachusetts or search AMC site
as well as local Boston clubs. Oh, yeah, also web site www.nmpb.com will get
all you need for information. (Northeast message paddling board)

Good luck.........

I never heard of the website you're referring to.

Check out <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.americanwhitewater.org/rivers/state/MA/" target="_blank">http://www.americanwhitewater.org/rivers/state/MA/</a> for a list and
descriptions of pretty much all the whitewater in Massachusetts. The Cohasset
Wave is said to be kaput, last I heard; there are a couple PnP spots Downeast,
however. See <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.americanwhitewater.org/rivers/state/ME/" target="_blank">http://www.americanwhitewater.org/rivers/state/ME/</a> for a bucking
funch of runnable streams. <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.americanwhitewater.org/rivers/id/786/" target="_blank">http://www.americanwhitewater.org/rivers/id/786/</a> and
<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.americanwhitewater.org/rivers/id/3634/" target="_blank">http://www.americanwhitewater.org/rivers/id/3634/</a> are a couple of coastal PnP
in that great state.

Good luck finding play!
