I'm considering buying a Mastercraft '90 WetJet Sport 2 (432cc, twin).
I haven't been able to find much info on it.

From what I've been told...
1990 Wet-jet Sport 2
432CC dual cylinder single carb engine.
50-100 hours
no cracks in the hull
rebuilt pump
35-40MPH
only had synthetic oil since i've had it
high torque starter
pump stuffer
peformance impeller
rebuilt carb last year
needs a bearing in the pump, it is $23 US

He's asking $500CDN.
I don't know what I'm getting myself into.
I'm very capible of repairing cars (transmissions, suspentions, clutches, etc.)
I need your opinions.

Thanks,
Mark.

RUN don't walk away from it !

$50.00 would be more like it, and that would just be for curiosity..

you can find a better ski for the same money if you look hard enough..

POS - even worse than what Mastercraft put out after they purchased
WetJet. Pass this one up, look for an old 500/650cc Yamaha that is a
beater, those motors run forever.

drive down a bumpy road at about 35-40 mph, open window and then throw cash
out the window, same effect, only you dont get splashed in the face...
