Post subject: Whitewater Parks Difference

A question that been bothering me. With all the new white water parks
popping up all over the place (purposed parks in the works). How does a
park designer make them significantly different ? Challenging enough for
the European pros to want to race here ? By the way a new pro level
white park is in the works for the Maumee river near Toledo.

Whitewater Paddling - There isn't much water around here the moment, and it's in the Autumn. When winter comes, I am going to do a lot of paddling on big water in my play boat on rivers like the Upper Dart, River Ogwen and River Sawdde.

Whitewater near NYC and Jersey? - I just moved to Hoboken, NJ (near NYC) and am looking for some class 3-5 rivers close by (or at least a play hole or two). Anyone know any secrets? Many thanks! Kevin
