This year marks the 60th anniversary of Sail RA, a Ottawa-based community sailing club. Way back in 1947 the club was formed and started operating on Dow's Lake. In 1989, the club decided to moved its operation to the Ottawa New Edinburgh Club building on the Ottawa River. On Sunday, July 22nd, Sail RA will celerbate it's 60th anniversary by holding an open house and reception at the Ottawa New Edinburgh Club. Can a boat sail faster than light ??? - I heard that if you can catch tachyons with your sails that you can sail faster than light. Is that true ?

Replace sail boat windows. - Planning to replace four cabin windows in our 1970s Westerly. Good time to do so because we will also be installing new headliner and doing other renovations.. Existing windows are 'crazed' (and possibly scratched), maybe by use of improper cleaning....

LF: radial mast section and radial sail for a Laser - Looking for a used radial mast section and radial sail for a Laser (hopefully around the Lake Ontario region or western Quebec).
