I find conflicting dates of scheduled releases for the Salmon at Pulaski,
NY. What is the "best" source of information on scheduled releases?

There was a change to the release schedule earler this year. You can check the

The dates for the releases were changed (from what was originally
announced for this year) to comply with the license agreement.
The dates are:
6/21,22
7/5,6 7/19,20
8/2,3 8/30,31
This is figured by using the first FULL weekend in Aug for the 4th
release, then back 2 weeks for the 3rd release, back 2 weeks for the 2nd
release, back 2 weeks for the 1st and then always Labor Day weekend.
The FMAT committee voted to do this to be in compliance with the FERC
agreement and will use this formula every year from now on.
