Well, I have half right.

Twin 150s on a 23 Pathfinder 23 DV.

Nice boat - utilitarian, but it was fitted out decently. There were a
few mods I would have done, but that was a personal choice.

Overall boat impression - very nice ride, quick on plane (four blade
props helped there), stable at speed as I walked around and once
trimmed out, very comfortable running angle.

Twin Yamahammers - eh. They are decently quiet, but my impression is
that they still lag in low end power and don't really hit their stride
until they hit mid-range RPM. Overall speeds were what I would have
expected even of ETECs - just took longer to get there.

I still say at speed, the ETEC is quieter than the four stroke, but
again, that may be subjective.

Had some fun out there though - it's a nice lake.

But in ten years the yammies will still be worth a nice price while the
etecs will be barely worth the scrap.

In ten years, today's four stroke won't be running.

The ETECs will still be humming along.
