Hey wake up kids! It's spring. Good news is there's lots of water in
the Great Lakes basin (bad news is there's lots of water...)

Did you know we are fast approaching the 10th Anniversary of the
can.rec.boating newsgroup next month. Pretty special! It seems like
yesterday we posted to can.config asking to create the group. Lots of
people supported it so it was born. Does anyone know the day of the
first post? can.rec.fishing came shortly after. I'm not sure how to
have a virtual birthday party but I'm open to ideas.

Perhaps we can celebrate by starting up some interesting boating related
postings.

What's that -Royal Bank of Canada? More likely outside fixing,
painting and waxing. They'll maybe drop by when they need some ideas
on a problem - I hope they come back anyway. Or maybe ten years is a
good run for a group. Even boating news is quiet right now.
