I heard there are only 3 different keys for the McGard locks. Is
there a better way to secure your stern drive? What creative ideas
have folks here come up with?

Where did you hear that? I have their prop lock and based onthe design it
could have lots of different keys. Why would they only make three?

A friend who read it on another board who heard... That's why i made
sure i said, "i heard." Not sure if it's true or not. If i had to
guess why, i'd say it's because they don't sell a whole lot of them
(at least comapred to locking lug nuts) so it's to keep their costs
down. He also said he remembered there being a general consensus
there was superior way to lock your drive, but couldn't remember what
it was.

Ever hear the rumor that there were only like 6 (or some surprisingly
low number) combinations for Corvette keys up until a few years ago?<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
