Just returned, yesterday, from a great trip aboard the cruise ship 'Disney
Magic'. A great week with stops at Key West, Grand Cayman, Cazumel, and
Castaway Key, by Abaco Island in the Bahamas.

The Disney folks really take care of their passengers with great food,
great shows, and a beautiful ship. I highly recommend it!

I have never been on a cruise, but it sounds like a great trip with the
grandkids.

Toured the Queen Mary in Long Beach last week. Was a cruise ship docked
near it. Unbelievable how much bigger the cruise ships are than the QM.
Way to many people to deal with.

Norwalk Virus, necrotizing fasciitis, MRSA, colds, influenza...

Sure, I'll take a cruise on a big ship with hundreds of other people
and their rug rats that I don't know on your recommendation.

Like hell I will. :>)

I hear there's a ship's pool, the winner being the one who accurately
guesses the number of screaming brats tossed overboard.

Ditto. As an aging baby boomer I cannot imagine wanting to take a cruise
aboard a ship filled with snot nosed screaming spoiled
brats........grandkids or not.

I shudder every time we go out for dinner to find us next to a cheap skate
family who decided to bring their screaming preschooler with them rather
than hire a baby sitter. Having to endure an entire cruise with that
*atmosphere* is not my cup of tea.

Damn when did you become such an expert on virus and bacteria?

Would you consider your condition to be Microbiophobia or Misophobia? Smile

I'm with you, no eff'ing way I'd EVER take a cruise on one of those
monsters. A small river cruise with under a dozen staterooms, maybe. But
one of those floating apartment buildings... never.

That is the reason why they offer so many different kind of cruises.

We all made the same wish, Wally: that you would drop dead.
Apparently we didn't wish hard enough.

I have no memory of Wally's bet. My guess is that whenever he made it,
he was residing in my bozo bin. In any event, maybe it's good he is
back. He did retire the cup as the dumbest poster here, and it hasn't
been easy to replace him.

There's that "we" again. Speak for yourself, Krause.
