....for a total of three.
The first is on the cop boat that never leaves its slip.
Second was on a ProLine 21, looked like a repower. Floating in the
launch ramp area, with the operator trying again and again to get the
engine started. Engine turned, coughed and sputtered. Problem unknown to
me.
Third was on a Grady, also a repower, at the marina boat/motor repair
shop. Didn't stop to find out what was happening, of course.
Three eTecs. Never seen one running.
New technology!

I ahve yet to see the first one, outside of a picture. I've boated on
Carlyle many, many times and have seen some excellent craft, none E-

I'm sure it does. However, I live adjacent to a huge body of water,
where there are thousands of outboard boaters, and the marina I use is
mostly populated by "fishing guys" with outboard boats. I've seen about
every brand of outboard *running* out of that marina, except Evinrude
eTecs. I keep hoping to see at least the cops out in the Whaler with the
eTec. >> Stay informed about: Saw two more eTecs this morning... |

The market for eTecs is very territorial. Northeast CT, to be specific.

Maybe if you speed around in a slow zone, you'll see if the do in fact
get out there.
P.S. I would never condone the voluntary violation of any laws, whether
or not they make sense in the first place. >> Stay informed about: Saw two more eTecs this morning... |

Once you get outside this particular marina, there really isn't a slow
zone. The cops stationed there have two boats, a whaler and a cruiser,
and I have never seen either out on the water. >> Stay informed about: Saw two more eTecs this morning... |

Speaking of your neck of the woods, do you know when the next 'flea market'
will be held at TriState? I've got a bunch of trolling stuff I want to get

I saw several on pro bass boats a couple of weeks ago when picking up bait.
My friends dock neighbor also has one on his boat. They are not really
popular around here but they are around. >> Stay informed about: Saw two more eTecs this morning... |

Right. That must be it, and the ones that are running have grey or black
