located in New York city, does any one knows a salvage yard or a place that

Keep all your Marine extremities. Heads, water cooling, oil pan. Go to the
boneyard and get a chevy 350 4 bolt main engine. The one I had in my
Thompson had Corvette valve covers. I later discvered that the original
motor was long since gone and a Coervette motor from the bone yard was used.
Come to think of it, I thought it was pretty quick for a 260 h.p motor. More
like 300 me thinks.
