My buddies all ride 1100 ZXI's and one has a 1100DI engine in his. My 900
almost keeps up on top speed, but I get torn up off the bottokm end. What
are the best modifications for the money to make my boat more competitive?
Could I concievably get 130 or 140 horses out of it? My buddy will give me
his old 1100 carbs for free if they will make mine go faster. Will they?
Is the 1100 stroked and bored over the 900 or is it all bore? If so could
mine be bored out to 1100cc? Any info will be much appreciated. If my boat
can't be faster then I'll have to buy a newer one, but I really like mine
cause it's in excellent shape and it's the green and purple one and I love
the color scheme.

Thanks,
Fred

milled the head, flame arresters, & impeller. that should put em away
pretty good.. mine did! Smile Sponsons on that boat wouldnt be a bad idea
either, in fact i think its a must. Dont bother with your buddies
carbs, you have the exact same setup if not better depending on what
year 1100ZXi they have.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Fast Freddie - There is no substitute for cubic inches. Also your pump is a
smaller diameter. Find a good deal on an early 1100 ZXI and off load your
900 ZXI. - Bob
