I'm looking for info on a Stenpro gas engine. From what I understand,
the engine is an Isuzu engine, that was maranized by Steel and Engine
Products in Liverpool NS. They are no longer in business, so can't
answer my question. The engine in question is a Stenpro 250. I'm
trying to determine how many horsepower that engine would be. One
person told me it was 25hp, and someone esle says 175hp.

Anyone here with some knowledge about the motor?

TIA

Brian

I have heard of sternpowr which is a heavy duty outdrive system which
requires an inboard transmission
<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.lancingmarine.com/sternpow.html" target="_blank">http://www.lancingmarine.com/sternpow.html</a>
but never sternpro. You could find info about these in New Brunswick at
Allain's sales, (506) 576-6621
they are a dealer, they would more than likely know about your sternpro as
well. Talk to Gilles
