I with a heavy heart went with a Yamaha vice a Honda (90 4 stroke). I did
this as the dealer is just starting to sell Hondas this year. Also Yamaha
has a 3 yr warranty vice a one. The reason I liked Honda is that my buddies
had one, I have a 9.9 and just liked the way the have handled. Looking
forward to trying out the Yamaha.
Comments or thoughts from those that know more than I are appreciated.

They are both good motors. You can't go wrong with either one of them.

Yamaha is also a very good motor. I fish with a couple of guy's up there who
own Yamaha's in fact both of them are part of the group going to the East
Arm. I was speaking with the Supply NCO (my old boss) up there the other
day. Told him which model of "Crestliner" you had decided upon. Seems it
piqued his curiosity and now he's thinking about a new boat also. Anyhow
Mike, I think you've chosen a superb boat/motor combination and I'm certain
you'll be very happy with it. If you've got any questions or want any
information prior to your posting, I'd be more than happy to chat with you.
Give me a call @ CSN 530-1089.
