How big a boat can be launched at a boat ramp? - I know the exact answer depends on ramp angle, height of waterline above grade and tow vehicle height, but I was wondering in general, just how big a boat can be launched without dangerously submerging the tow vehicle. What's your experience? Tony V

Where to find ramp stories? - I don't mean to take pleasure in the misfortunes of others, but I always enjoy a good ramp story. (I can usually identify.) Sitting around inside with snow on my covered boat, I need something boat related to think about till next spring. Thanx Rob

Carolina Skiff 24DLX on ramp - I am having a heck of time keeping the 'rub rail' or seam covers from being rubbed off every time I drop in or pull out. I have a nice trailer made for the boat but there is a pair of planks on the trailer by the bow hook that tear the trim work off no....

Barn Island Ramp, Stonington, CT will be closed... - for renovations this summer. The nice thing about this is that the damned rock right off the ramp that keeps moving from place to place busting props will be removed. That rock was trained by the prop repair businesses in the area to keep them fully..

boat ramp near Ellisville Harbor State Park ??? - Does anyone know of a ramp near the Ellisville Harbor State Park in Plymouth Ma where I could launch a 14ft Vhull. I have hunted duck there from land many times, but would love to try it from a boat. Thanks in advance
