I am looking for info on the water alarm system on a lucas fuel (diesel)
filter
The water alarm is a little device you can screw in the bottom side of the
filter ,
the device has a cable with three leads brown blue and green\yellow , I want
to know how to connect the device to the alarm lamp or buzzer .
Who can help , or knows a address on the internet where I can look
Thanks , Ron

Archived from groups: per prev. post (more info?)

You probably cannot connect it directly to a lamp or buzzer. An interface is
probably needed.

Have you visited your local Lucas agent, the one who fixes lorries etc, our
local one in Poole is very helpful .

The device is probably found on many vehicles and with a part no. you have a
good chance of getting info.

Regards

Alec
