Roller bunks? - Can anyone have a look at these and give me their opinions? They look like a good idea - rollers to replace existing carpeted bunks. I'm not sure how they'd fit though or if there are any draw backs. ..

The fabric these are made of is just a thicker version of that used on toys. It is not the same stuff as zodiac etc use. In my mind these are just well made beach toys. They are no way in the same league as Avon, Zodiac, Quicksilver, Maxon, etc. They are cheap selling for 80-120 on Ebay. spend a little more on a second hand dinghy, If its made of hyperlon will last you years. The seahawk look as if the most you could expect is a couple of seasons.

Unfortunately they're little more than toys.

oh i know they dont compare to the likes of avon etc... but i thought that
28 guage sounded thicker than the usual cheapo toys. plus the fact that
these are triple layered.

oh well - i knew i couldnt afford a serious dinghy so 'maybe' this will be
