Wake Board, Knee Board, Skis & Tow Rope - Need some opinions - just got an '03 1200xlt - its broke in and we want to acquire some toys. I bought this model so we can tow skiers. What do you recommend (Brand, models, etc.) for a tube, wake board, skis, knee board & tow rope. I want quality.
Towing Jet Skis - Where do I Pinch-off Water intake line?? - I have new, used 2000 Kawasaki Ultra 150 and 2000 Kawasaki 1100 STX DI Jet Skis. I will be towing both of these jet skis behind a houseboat this summer. I already know to keep it slow; ~5mph; tow them with fuel tanks so they are not..
FS: 2 Jet Skis - Raleigh NC - 91 SeaDoo XP and 97 Polaris .. - 91 SeaDoo is a 2 seater, runs like a champ, well New Jet Pump Assy last summer (Impro's rebuilt it) and will almost leap out of the water! 97 Polaris is a 3 seater and very fun to ride, its 700cc engine is fast and very durable. Has new..

I kind of got a kick out of this post. I used to kind of feel the same way
as this guy. I just couldn't seem to get the hang of a stand up ski. Spent
more time in the water than on the darn thing. At 56 years old it is kind of
tuff to start over at a new sport. I have been on sit downs for years but
decided to give it one last try on a Kawi SXR. AAHH heck that ski is great.
Made me feel like a pro. I now own two of them and a little SX 650. I still
ride my Blaster's and my STXR but love the stand up's the best.
Stand up sport over.. I don't think so. Hope not.. just getting started.

I would have agreed that stand ups are dying but thank GAWD for Kawi and the
SXR!! They took a chance and it paid off. They sold every unit they had by
mid-summer. The ski class is the still the most exciting racing to watch. Its
all about the rider and the SXR makes a racer out of anyone. I have both sit
downs and stand ups and each are good for what they do. The people who try to
instigate some sort of battle are usually the ones who can't even ride around
in the tray let alone stand up. What I say to those people is "Have fun doing

my '78 440 generates the most grins, and i get to ride everything now.
ah yes, the 1000cc plus club gets you into the realm of the super-fast
supertankers. you, and the 68 year-old arthritic dude that also has the
requisite skills to climb on and grab some throttle.
