take the carb apart, and clean the jets, then put it back together and pour
gas in the spark plug holes replace the plugs and turn it over with the
throttle closed until you hear a pop and then it should sputter to life

i would drain all the old gas out if it is more than a month or two old.
spin the engine over and spray fogging oil in the carb throats with the
throttle open to lube the crank and top end before you fire it.it will make it
smoke some extra when it starts but that is better than starting it dry.
If you do decide to pour gas directly into the spark plug hole make sure it has
some pre mix oil in it.
dead gas and gummed up carbs are usually the biggest things you will
find.hopefully they fogged it when it got parked.
if not the moisture left in the system i.e waterbox can corrode the crank
bearings and cause failure. good luck, scott >> Stay informed about: How to start a Jetski that hasn't run in a while? |

hook it up to a battery charger and continue cranking while spraying starting
fluid in the carbs,
Act surprised when the starter burns up.
Seriously, take it to a mechanic. I am sure one of the good people on this NG
can reccomend a good dealer or private mechanic in GA. I am a big advocate of
not doing it yourself if you are uncertain how... I have had to write many a
check to fix not only the problem I had with my PWC but the extra damage I did
trying to fix it myself. >> Stay informed about: How to start a Jetski that hasn't run in a while? |

I've used WD-40 to disperse water from wet spark plugs and cylinders at
the lake to start one, but never out of storage.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ --> >> Stay informed about: How to start a Jetski that hasn't run in a while? |

he might be referring to fogging oil in the engine -for winterisation
this keeps the engine corrosion free when standing unused for long periods
of time
